Meet Our Team

Our therapists specialize in sexual behavior, sexuality, and gender identity.

Many clients come to us with struggles often labeled Sex Addiction or Porn Addiction. Rather than focusing on these labels, the SAT approach creates a compassionate space to explore the deeper emotional and historical roots.

We view sexual acting out as a symptom—not the problem—and believe healing begins by understanding what drives it.

SAT Project Directors

Michael Crocker

DSW, LCSW, MA, FOUNDER, CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Trauma robs us of choice. I help clients discover (or sometimes rediscover) their connection to creativity, play, and intimacy.

Shaun Peknic

In addition to my work as SAT Project director, I help clients learn to communicate their needs in romantic or creative partnerships.

Our Values

The SAT Project team is a diverse group of therapists with varied approaches to working with clients. Yet we all strive to understand behavior, not judge or label it. We provide identity-affirming therapy for all communities, and we're committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
