Are you looking for support on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment?
My office is an inclusive environment that celebrates all aspects of your identity, including being queer-, trans-, kink-, poly-, and sex work-affirming. Together, we will navigate challenges, celebrate successes, and work towards creating a more fulfilling and empowered life for you. I do not just sit back and nod. I am an active participant in helping you create goals, sharpen tools, and make discoveries. Clients often come to see me when they experience challenges around neurodivergence, relationships, and trauma. Perhaps you and your partner(s) are stuck recreating painful patterns or struggling to communicate. Maybe you need support dealing with trust issues. No matter what brings you to therapy, I’m here to help you navigate these complex life experiences with understanding and care. In our work together, I will use a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to align with your unique goals and experiences. Sessions are rooted in psychodynamic theory and integrate feminist, relational, attachment, and cognitive-behavioral techniques to foster holistic well-being and personal growth. I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University. I am active in research endeavors and will publish my first peer-reviewed paper, “Gender Diverse Youth in Family Therapy” in the Encyclopedia of Couple and Family Therapy. I am working on research at Northwestern to evaluate racial bias in end-of-term teaching evaluations. I also hold a graduate certificate in human gender and sexuality from the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University. |
