I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience treating adults, adolescents, couples and groups. I help clients address and resolve a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, and relationship difficulties.
My primary area of specialization is treating codependency, which is a problem that is often overlooked or minimized. Codependency can manifest as a pattern of enmeshed or abusive relationships, preoccupation with the needs of others, anxiety and obsessive thinking. Partners of addicts or alcoholics and people raised in families affected by alcoholism or addiction often suffer from codependency.
I have a BS in Psychology from Georgetown University and an MSW from New York University.
